2020 AgriPunica Barrua

Officially from the I.G.T. of Isola dei Nuraghi, on Sardinia. It's crafted from native grapes and French varieties then vinified to reveal its purity of fruit flavour.
Richness and mouthfeel are typical of this wine, thanks to the malolactic fermentation it undergoes, followed by aging for 18 months in French oak barrels and a further 6 months in the bottle, prior to release.
Tasting Note: The scent of ripe red fruit (black cherry), spices, and hints of myrtle and liquorice create a complex aroma. The taste of this elegant wine reveals a skilled craftsmanship, with hints of sage, myrtle, ripe red fruit and pepper culminating in a persistent and harmonized end.
