Shadow Point takes its name from the hills that cast dramatic shadows over the vineyards as the sun dips westward. Nestled in Monterey’s Central Coast, this vineyard thrives in the cooling Pacific breezes, ideal for cultivating Pinot Noir. Boutinot, the producer, brings decades of expertise to craft wines that are as dynamic and expressive as the terroir itself.

For this vintage, the grapes underwent cold maceration before fermentation in stainless steel to retain freshness and vibrancy. Thirty percent of the wine then matured for eight months in medium-toast French oak, lending a subtle spice and toasty finish to its elegant profile.
