2024 Changeon Sauvignon BLanc ‘Les Nomades’
‘Changeon’ is the river that was originally diverted for the watermills of Bourgueil to operate and David chose this name as it passes near the domaine and is symbolic of his new direction. There are twelve hectares of vines, with eleven hectares of Cabernet Franc and half a hectare each of Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc.
Made from young vines perfectly adapted to the parcel of Neusaies where they are situated.
Tasting Note: This wine presents typical aromas of fully ripe Sauvignon Blanc, with subtle notes of exotic fruit, passion fruit, and acacia notes. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced with a harmonious roundness from aging on fine lees, which enhances the vibrant citrus flavors. The influence of claylimestone soils gives Nomades a distinctive energy and freshness.
