2019 Moorooduc Robinson Chardonnay
Wild yeast fermentation in French oak barrels occurred, with 25% of them newly established, then aged in wood for 10 months on its lees.
Tasting Note: This Chardonnay boasts a pale straw hue, with green nuances. Notes of gunflint, lemon, and honeydew melon are detected on the nose. The palate is energized with juicy lemon and grapefruit flavours, offset by a refreshing acidity and phenolics, leading to a lengthy finish.
