The Santa Ana Plot in Ábalos, Rioja Alta, boasts a single vineyard situated 600 meters above sea level. The soil is poor, shallow, and features limestone sleeves on the surface.

This combination of poor soil, high altitude, and perfect climate, result in flavourful, intriguing wines.

The harvest was done manually, with careful selection of grapes and an ideal balance of maturation and acidity.

Abeica

Step into the world of Abeica, a fourth-generation winery (with the fifth generation already honing their skills).

Run by four siblings - Isabel, Ricardo, Pachi, and Raul - this is a true family project, crafted exclusively using their own vines and honing their collective expertise.

The vineyards, perched at an elevation up to 600 metres above sea level and mainly consisting of clay-calcerous soil, bask in the protection of the Sonsierra mountain range. During the harvest season, the entire extended family is employed to handpick and transport the grapes to the gravity-fed winery.
