The term "Rabourcé" comes from "Rebursum", which translates as "overturned". Its more literal meaning is "inside out" or "backwards". As such, the Rabourcé is sourced from the highest and warmest vineyards in the region, where its vines are planted in reverse orientation compared to the adjacent 'Raclot' and 'Les Cloux Climats'.

Nestled atop a south-facing, stony clay-limestone terroir, this 40+ year old vineyards receive the utmost care - early harvesting for optimal ripeness and judicious pruning for enhanced vigour.

Tasting Note: Mineral and white-fruity aromas coupled with a subtle oakiness characterise the nose, while the palate is well-balanced and rich, revealing the same aromas plus spices and toasted bread. Enjoy a lingering finish.
