The Jewel in the family's wine's this is the image of the company made from 100% Turbiana, a native grape to the region. This is a wine that can be had both young or laid down to rest and evolve into a totally different wine.

Tasting Note: As a young wine it is fresh and elegant with a floral bouquet with fresh apricots, on the palate a balsamic acidity allowing it to pair with a variety of small delicate dishes. With age it develops complexity with the fruits becoming sweeter, candied, and spices developing further enhancing the minerality of the wine.

Ca dei Frati, located in Lombardy, has the most stunning views over the Lake Garda, which can be seen from the vineyards'.

A rich history with the origins going all the way back to 1782, the modern story starts in 1939 with Felice Dal Cero recognising the potential of the area for viticulture, 30 years later his son Pietro brought these wines to the forefront helping create the DOC and labelling the wines Lugana Casa dei Frati, later renaming to Ca’ dei Frati.

Now the company is run by Pietro's children Igino, Gian Franco and Anna Maria, who carry on their father's legacy with the same passion and determination he did. Here at Caviste we have the perfect trio from the shore of Lake Garda.
