Skipskop’s 2025 Semillon en Barrique is a single‑barrel marvel - 90% Semillon and 10% Sauvignon Blanc - aged in small oak to marry freshness with generous texture.
Harvest challenges and late‑season rains yielded under 225 L of top‑quality wine, making this the most exclusive Semillon yet: rich, honeyed and refined.
Winemaking: Fermented and aged in one 225 L oak barrel, topped up mid‑year with same‑vintage Sauvignon Blanc, then bottled unblended.
Pairing Suggestions: Enjoy on its own or alongside grilled poultry, steamed fish or creamy risottos to echo its dried‑honey and lemon rind notes.
Tasting Note: Notes of dried honeycomb, lemon curd and toasted brioche unfold into a silky palate with bright acidity and a long, nutty finish.
