1. What is Caviste, and what makes your wine selection unique?
Caviste is a specialist wine retailer offering a carefully curated selection of fine wines, spirits, and exclusive bottles. We focus on quality, sustainability, and unique producers.

Our range spans the whole world of wine and spirits. There's diversity, exploration, excitement, and, most importantly, exquisite flavour, to be found on our site.

2. Do you offer personalised wine recommendations?
Yes! Our team of experts is happy to help you choose the perfect wine based on your preferences, occasion, or meal pairing.

3. Can I visit your shop in person?
Absolutely! Our shops are open to visitors, and we’d love to see you. Check our locations and opening hours for details.


Orders & Delivery

4. How do I place an order?
You can place an order online via our website, by email, over the phone, or visit one of our shops for in-person assistance.

5. What are your delivery options?
We offer UK mainland delivery, with free delivery on orders over £140. Delivery typically takes 2-5 working days.

Standard delivery is charged at £10.95 for UK mainland.

European delivery and parcels to UK Highlands and Islands is available on request. Please contact wine@caviste.co.uk to discuss further.

6. Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.

7. Do you deliver internationally?
We currently deliver to selected countries outside the UK. Please contact us at wine@caviste.co.uk for a shipping quote and details.

8. What happens if my wine arrives damaged?
If your wine arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos, and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund, in line with our terms and conditions.


Wine Selection & Storage

9. How should I store my wine?
Wine should be stored on its side in a cool, dark place with minimal temperature fluctuations. Ideal conditions are around 12-15°C with 70% humidity.

10. Do you sell vegan or organic wines?
Yes, we offer a range of vegan, organic, and biodynamic wines. Look for the labels on our product pages or ask our team for recommendations.

11. Can I buy wines by the case?
Certainly! You can purchase pre-mixed cases or create your own custom selection. There's no minimum order either, for number of bottles of price. Plus, mix your own dozen bottles of wine and receive a 5% discount (terms and conditions apply).

12. How do I know when to drink my wine?
We only sell bottles that are ready to drink now! Having said that, some will improve with age. If you're in doubt, please contact us on wine@caviste.co.uk for any assistance and advice.


Gifting & Events

13. Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes, we provide a gift-wrapping service for an additional fee. Just fill in your requirements in the comments section when you order.

14. Can I send wine as a gift with a handwritten message?

Absolutely! You can include a personalised message, and we’ll ensure your gift is beautifully presented.

15. Do you host wine tasting events?
Yes, we regularly host wine tastings and events. Check our events page for upcoming dates and details.
