An Evening with Glenfarclas Distillery

Last Thursday night was certainly one to remember.

Our beautiful events space was taken over by the team from Glenfarclas Distillery, a traditional highland whisky producer, family owned and run for 6 generations.

We were spoiled to a delicious tasting of their remarkable range, all matured in Oloroso sherry casks, alongside some rather scrumptious food from the Caviste chef.

Of particular note was the welcome cocktail, made using the Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength, white chocolate syrup, and sparkling cranberry juice. A warming, tasty combination which really brought out the best in the lovely Glenfarclas 105.

We concluded our evening with a dram of the exceptional 25-Year-Old Glenfarclas, paired perfectly with a pear, oat, and almond tart. A tasting experience like no other.

A small surprise was the inclusion of a final cheeky dram of the new addition to the Glenfarclas family, Leiper’s Fork Tennessee Whiskey… Certainly one to watch in the years to come.
