Following Mark and Bill’s visit to Burgundy earlier in the month – 16 producers and 100 wines tasted – we shall have the list of our favourites across the Côtes de Nuits, Beaune, Chalonnaise and Mâconnais in the next few days.

   

Most Burgundy lovers will be aware by now of the much reduced quantities produced in 2021 following such aggressive frosts in April that afflicted the region.  The wines are few and the prices aren’t exactly lightweight, but the quality shines forth - the wines are utterly lovely, exuding charm and definition, and just taste so good.
