How does a Virtual Tasting work?

2 or 3 days before the tasting or Wine School event you will receive your collection of wines all carefully decanted into 100ml glass bottles for two people or 50ml glass bottles for one person, clearly labelled and securely packaged. You will also received an email with a code and password to access the Virtual Tasting via Zoom (or possibly another virtual format) together with a tasting sheet of the wines and all instructions with regard to chilling and matching the wines with any food to enhance the enjoyment of the event.

Are the Tastings recorded?

Because there are always unforeseen circumstances when customers are unable to attend a Caviste virtual event, we now record each tasting. Upon request we shall email you with a link to the recording in the Cloud so that you can enjoy the tasting at your convenience.

How long can I keep the set of unopened tasting bottles?

Although the wines have been carefully decanted with a minimum of exposure to air – and then each bottle filled to the brim – we find that after a week there is sometimes a small deterioration in the wines. We therefore recommend that you organise yourself to taste the wines within a week of the wines being despatched.
