From the iconic Bussia vineyard in Monforte d’Alba comes the exquisite 2019 Prunotto Bussia Barolo, a wine that embodies the elegance, power, and charm of Nebbiolo at its finest. Born in the heart of Barolo’s rolling hills, this historic gem has been captivating palates since its first single-vineyard release in 1961.

Crafted with meticulous care, the Nebbiolo grapes were hand-harvested in October, selected for their impeccable quality after a challenging growing season. The grapes underwent maceration on the skins for 8–10 days at a controlled temperature of 30°C, allowing the wine to achieve its profound colour and structure. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged for 18 months in oak barrels, developing balance, finesse, and complexity.

Tasting Note: Intensely ruby red, this Barolo reveals captivating aromas of ripe red fruit, roses, and forest floor, with hints of spice and wildflowers. On the palate, it’s bold yet refined, with silky tannins and a long, harmonious finish that lingers with notes of dried herbs and subtle earthiness.
