2020 Domaine Douhairet-Porcheret Monthelie Blanc Vieilles Vignes

Domaine Douhairet-Porcheret has roots stretching back more than 300 years. Now run by Cataldina Lippo and Vincent, the estate focuses on expressing the character of its individual vineyards through careful viticulture and traditional Burgundian winemaking. Its Vieilles Vignes white wine, sold as Cuvée Miss Armande, is made from Chardonnay and showcases the richness and elegance that Monthelie can offer. The 2020 vintage was particularly successful, producing beautifully ripe, expressive wines.

Tasting note:

Rich and inviting, with aromas of ripe yellow peach, nectarine and spring flowers, complemented by toasted hazelnut, vanilla and a gentle touch of spice. The palate is generous and creamy, balanced by fresh acidity and a subtle mineral edge, leading to a long, savoury finish. A beautifully rounded yet lively white Burgundy, ideal with roast chicken, seared scallops or creamy mushroom dishes.
