Keigetsu Gin-no-Yume Junmai-Daiginjo 50 (72cl)

£33.00

Since their founding in 1877, Keigetsu have manufactured high quality sake, using their abundant water and clean air from mountains in nothern Kochi-prefecture (the “Tosa-Reihoku region”).

Junmai-Daiginjo is a measure of quality; a marker that it is regarded as the finest style of Sake.

This Junmai Daiginjo has a 50% polish rate meaning half of the original rice grain remains while the other half has been polished away. The Nigori Junmai Daiginjo 50 is the coarsely-filtered version of the multi-awarded CEL24 Junmai Daiginjo, with the remaining rice sediments giving it the cloudy appearance.

Tasting Note: This Junmai-Daiginjo is brewed with Gin no Yume Sake rice with a 50% polishing rate from the Reihoku region in Kochi prefecture. There is a fine balance at play in this Sake with both elegant Daiginjo character and bold Junmai assertiveness. The rich taste and fragrance make this a joy for Sake lovers.

Serving Suggestion: Chilled or Room Temperature

Alcohol: 15.0%

Sake Rice: Gin no Yume (Rice Polishing: 50%)

Keigetsu Sake

Since their founding in 1877, Keigetsu have manufactured high quality sake, provided with the abundant water and clean air from mountains in the Northern Kochi-prefecture (called “Tosa-Reihoku region”).

Tosa-cho, where our brewery exists, is sorrounded with a serene natural environment near the Sameura Lake which is called a water source in Shikoku. From this lake Yoshino river flows through Shikoku to the east.

Keigetsu hand-make a small amount of sake which consumers will be satisfied with, using high-quality soft water in this region.
