Domaine Belleville was Born in Rully but with organic vines from Mercurey to Gevrey Chambertin, our main contact with the property. Our contact is the charming Hugue, whom Mark and Bill met on their visit in 2023.
The history of the Domaine is rich, and Hugue speaks almost evangelically about the values that all at Belleville believe in: respect, humility and honesty.
Head winemaker Charles is young & enthusiastic though quietly spoken and gentle in his manner. Behind the calm demeanour , he is staunchly dedicated to creating excellence in his wines but his duty to protect the quality of the juice through sensible farming methods speaks volumes.
