2021 Domaine Belleville Santenay 'Les Hâtes'

In Old French, a "Hâte" denoted an agricultural unit of 4.28 acres (or one hundred square metres) that was exclusively used in Burgundy.

The terroir is clay-limestone soil. Careful crop management of 35+ year old vines is combined with precise pruning to achieve a harmony between crispness and alcohol.

Tasting Note: Vibrant and sophisticated. Hints of red cherry, raspberry, and blackcurrant, joined by a touch of spice. On the palate: Fruity, mineral, and supple, with nuances of cherry, crushed raspberry, and plum, followed by subtle notes of toasted wood and caramel. Long, lingering finish.

Origin: Burgundy, France

Alcohol: 13.0%

Blend: Pinot Noir
