Produced in the low lying Pyrenees regions where the climates of the Mediterranean and Atlantic converge, this signature blend is light and easy-sipping, lending Domaine de Cassagnau Rouge a Languedoc character with a southwestern twist.

The estate is helmed by Jacques Abet, a doctor by trade and winemaker by passion, with his family's enthusiasm and meticulous attention to their terroir providing a unique result.

Tasting Note: Wild red fruits, black pepper and garrigue. An easy to drink, tasty wine, which only asks to be shared.

Domaine de Cassagnau

Family-owned since the eighteenth century, the estate owes its longevity to its women. Jacques’ grandmother Berthe, who managed the estate for six decades, took it through two world wars and many viticultural crises. He inherited this family property from his mother, Jacqueline. Today, it’s thanks to his wife Colette that Jacques, who had chosen to pursue a career in medicine, is able to satisfy his passion for winegrowing and for the terroir in which he grew up.
