The Lanzerac Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a crisp, vibrant white wine from the estate’s Jonkershoek Reserve range, crafted to showcase purity of fruit and freshness of style. Winemaking:

The grapes for the 2024 vintage were sourced from three blocks in the Jonkershoek Valley, planted between 1998 and 2014, on soils of decomposed granite, sandstone, and clay. Harvesting took place in the early morning to preserve freshness, with all work carried out by hand. Grapes were sorted, crushed, and cooled before undergoing six hours of skin contact to enhance flavour complexity. After gentle pressing, the juice settled for 48 hours under a protective dry ice blanket. Fermentation occurred at cool, controlled temperatures of 12–14°C over 10 days, ensuring precision and purity. Extended lees contact contributed subtle creaminess and weight to the final wine.

Extended lees contact contributes to a rounded, creamy mid-palate, while the finish is long, refreshing, and lifted by citrus and herbal notes.
