The Heart Cut is a brand born out of the shared passion of Georgie Bell and Fabrizio Leoni, a husband-and-wife duo deeply rooted in the whisky and cocktails industry. Both Georgie and Fabrizio have dedicated their careers to exploring the world of spirits, spending years traveling the globe, visiting distilleries, and uncovering hidden gems in the whisky and cocktail world. Their love for discovering new drinks and sharing these experiences with others inspired them to create The Heart Cut.
They are an independent bottler that collaborates with distilleries from around the world to release one-off single cask and small batch whiskies. Their mission is to shine a spotlight on both well-known and lesser-known distilleries, introducing enthusiasts to new flavors and experiences.
The name "The Heart Cut" is derived from the distillation process. During distillation, the spirit is divided into three phases: heads, heart, and tails. The heart cut is the most prized part of the distillation, where the true character of the spirit is captured.
