Domaine Courtault-Michelet is located in the village of Lignorelles, a few kilometers northwest of Chablis. This tiny village sits atop a plateau, with most vineyards facing south
or southwest, allowing the grapes to ripen slightly earlier than in much of the Chablis region.
A standout of their portfolio is the Petit Chablis, sourced from well-positioned sites near the winery. Fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel, with the wines resting on their
fine lees until the following spring, ensuring maximum structure and depth.
Tasting Note: . Intense aromas of ripe peach and pear highlight its fresh and fruity profile. The palate is equally flattering, offering a burst of fruit flavors supported by a clean, slightly
iodized minerality. It shines when served young, showcasing its bright fruit character. However, it also has the potential to age gracefully for 3 to 4 years, allowing the minerality to
further develop.
