Kilchoman’s Sauternes Cask release is a rare marriage of French sweet?wine barrels and island?smoked spirit, yielding a lush, honeyed single malt.

Every drop matures for at least five years in fresh and refill Sauternes barriques, imparting apricot and butterscotch above the classic maritime peat.

Production: Distilled spirit is matured entirely in first? and refill Sauternes casks for over five years, then bottled at 50% to preserve its delicate sweet?wine nuances.

Pairing Suggestions: Fine with foie gras and blue cheese, it also makes a decadent counterpoint to crème brûlée and fruit?topped tarts.

Tasting Note: Delicate aromas of candied apricot, honeycomb and white blossoms lead into a palate of caramelised pear, salted smoke and creamy toffee, finishing soft and lingeringly sweet.
