For centuries, the Ducru-Beaucaillou estate has captivated six families, including Desjean, Bergeron, Ducru, Johnston, Desbarat, and Borie. Their admiration for this prestigious domain has triumphed above all else transient, as if passion had perfected Nature's artwork. 

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou derives its moniker from the "beautiful pebbles" ("beaux Cailloux") of Gunzian gravel, left by the Garonne two million years back. A wander through the vineyards reveals plentiful rocks of Lydian jasper from the Pyrenees, flint, quartz, and agatoids. Poor in nutrients, these Gunzian gravels confer great qualitative excellence to the wines of the estate—a selection of nature.

Tasting Note: The senses are blessed with a delightful crispness, laden with restrained aromas of blackcurrant and dark berry. The flavour is polished with invigorating berry fruit predominating. Its texture is elegantly luxurious, with a classic smoothness.
