Redoma is expertly crafted from mature vines in the renowned Cima Corgo region, where a blend of grape varietals such as Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, and Tinto Cão thrive together.

Its distinctive personality and alluring appeal capture the essence of the Douro region perfectly.

Tasting Note: Very rich ruby colour with earthy and spicy aromas, notes of black and red berries, with notes of rockrose, full of the character of a Douro. Surrounded by a discreet and elegant smoke that does not overpower the whole. In the mouth it is vibrant, with a very well defined structure, full of fruit and minerality. Tannins are present, but in a soft and enveloping way. Very long and persistent with great aging potential.

Dirk Niepoort, part of the fifth generation, leads the family business, following the retirement of his father, Eduard Rudolph Niepoort. Since his studies in Switzerland, Dirk has been passionate about wine and has brought innovation to the traditional Niepoort brand.
