This case from 2009 is a stunning wine from a stunning vintage. The summer sun settled over the region to produce beautifully ripe and generous fruit with the wines able to be enjoyed now or kept for further development.
Tasting Note: An exceptionally complex and elegant nose where blackcurrant and blackberry aromas combine with graphite notes and a floral touch of violet. The flavours are both powerful and restrained, while the long and highly refined structure is set off by a refreshing acidity. Amazingly harmonious. A very fine Pontet-Canet!
