2009 Carlo Ferragù Amarone della Valpolicella
The Ferragù’s estates cover a 8 hectares area per vineyard and around one hectare of oil cultivation land. They don’t decorate just the lazy pattern of trellis, kissed by the summer sun, but also immerse us in the silence around Sorcè di Sopra, 220 metres above the sea level.
The Amarone of Valpolicella is a wine of complex structure, elegant, balanced, rich and intense, such as the extraordinary shade of its impenetrable red as well as unreachable are its flavour and taste.
Tasting Note: With a strong ruby red colour with raisin bouquet that hints of sweet jam with spices. Full, supple and persistent to the palate. Excellent tannic suppleness.
