The DO of Toro in North West Spain produces some of the most underrated wines in the country made from 100% Tempranillo (the same grape as Rioja). Deep cherry colour and an expressive aroma of ripe fruit with a subtle touch of sweet spices. The palate is well structured and perfectly balanced with a rich, silky aftertaste thanks to 12 months maturation in new oak barrels. 14.5%
