Experience the legacy of Château du Gazin, a centuries-old estate steeped in history and continuously evolving through generations of ownership and management. With a rich viticultural heritage, this renowned estate consistently produces exceptional wines.
Located in the Fronsac appellation, on the right bank of the Dordogne River, the region is known for its clay and limestone soils, which are conducive to the cultivation of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the primary grape varietals grown in the area.
Tasting Note: Elegant and complex with black fruit aromas and hints of cedar, tobacco, leather, and dried herbs. Medium bodied with velvety tannins and notes of dark fruits, tobacco leaf, leather, and black tea. Well-integrated oak adds complexity without overwhelming. Lingering finish with dried fruit and earthy minerality.
Origin: Bordeaux, France
Blend: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec
