Taché is the French word for ‘stained’. When disgorged, Taltarni Taché is stained with red wine, imparting its unique flavour and elegant salmon colour.

The 2015 vintage was an exceptional year for sparkling fruit. The conditions produced fruit that reached maturity while still maintaining bright and lean acid. This balance enhanced the subtle, yet complex flavours of the fruit.

This sparkling rosé was crafted using traditional methods, starting with whole bunches of grapes and separating the free-run juice and pressings. After cold settling and fermentation, the base wine was aged on lees before undergoing a secondary fermentation. The result is a wine with a delicate structure and hints of bread on the nose, balanced by a creamy texture. Aged Pinot Noir is added during disgorging, providing beautiful aromatics of strawberry and rose petal and creating a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness for an elegant finish.
