Situated 25km from Bordeaux, the Margaux appellation covers five municipalities and is the only one in the Médoc where you find the entire, rich and vast range of wines, from the first to the fifth Grand Cru Classé. Margaux wines are particularly supple and refined. They are characterised by very elegant, fruity aromas, making them the benchmark for generous, sophisticated wines with soft ripe tannins.

Tasting Note: This 2016 stands out thanks to the richness and elegance usually found in the first-label of Margaux wines. A deep garnet hue with deep purple tints and a generous bouquet, where red fruits harmonise perfectly with spicy, earthy notes, vanilla and masterfully restrained toastiness. Beautifully well-bred palate, with smooth extract adding elegant plumpness to the moderate tannins and a hint of toastiness.
