2018 Apatsagi Pannonhalmi Hemina White
This Burgundian-style Hemina White is a blend of Viognier, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc.
A full-bodied, creamy structure, topped with a calcareous mineral note, enlivened by accents from aging in used barrels, and accentuated by the lush fruitiness of Viognier and the refreshing acidity of Sauvignon Blanc.
This superbly complex wine will continue to mature with bottle aging.
Tasting Note: A floral, herby lime and citrus nose. The palate is nicely creamy, a touch smoky with some honey and stone fruit finishing dry and mineral. This sophisticated flavour profile has a little something for everyone.
