Appellation AOC Pauillac, located on the left bank of the Gironde, is renowned for its favourable climatic and geological conditions associated with the production of premium wines. 

Carefully chosen from the Maison Sichel properties, this wine has been 'declassified' from its illustrious origins.

Aged for 20 months in oak barriques. Can be enjoyed while young (2-3 years after vintage) but has cellaring potential for a number of years.

Tasting Note: It’s deep fluorescent ruby in colour, therefore, instantly draws you in. Rich and elegant on the nose, with lashings of pure cassis, aromatic green tobacco leaf, and earthy notes. Gentle powdery tannins convey youthful swathes of blackberry and red plum alongside a generous body with a prolonged, balanced finish. 20 months in French oak barrels offer up a nuanced vanilla spice, too. It really is an all-rounder.
