2019 AgriPunica Barrua
Barrua is a consistent favorite among our customers and its vibrant ruby-red hue and notes of succulent red fruit and black cherry, spices, liquorice, and myrtle. This finely-crafted wine does not fail to impress.
Officially from the I.G.T. of Isola dei Nuraghi, on Sardinia. It's crafted from native grapes and French varieties then vinified to reveal its purity of fruit flavour.
This exquisite wine boasts an abundance of flavour and body, facilitated by malolactic fermentation and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, concluding with 6 months of bottle aging prior to release.
Tasting Note: The scent of ripe red fruit (black cherry), spices, and hints of myrtle and liquorice create a complex aroma. The taste of this elegant wine reveals a skilled craftsmanship, with hints of sage, myrtle, ripe red fruit and pepper culminating in a persistent and harmonized end.
