2019 Brio de Cantenac Brown Margaux
Brio de Cantenac Brown is the second wine of Château Cantenac Brown, crafted from younger vines to express the generosity and perfume of Margaux in an approachable, elegant style. It offers fresh fruit, soft tannins and refined texture, providing a clear introduction to the estate’s terroir and a superb value.
In 2019, the assemblage is 48% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, vinified parcel by parcel for freshness. Élevage takes place in French oak barriques — 25%
new, 75% one-year — polishing the wine without obscuring its identity.
Tasting Note: Supple and beautifully poised, layering dark cherry and blackberry with violet, subtle cedar and a touch of spice. The palate flows with silk-textured tannins and a graceful finish, delivering the kind of drinkability that makes Brio so appealing in its youth.
