2019 Oliver Zeter Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Fume
The Sauvignon Blanc “Fume” hails from Oliver Zeter's oldest and best vineyards, harvested from optimally healthy and ripe fruit.
After maceration, the juice flows into new and used 300 & 500 litre French oak barrels. The must ferments spontaneously and spends at least 9 months on the gross lees. A small portion ends up in the concrete egg and in small stainless steel tanks.
The juice is blended and gently filtered, prior to bottling.
Tasting Note: Delicate sweetness with floral hints and a vibrant fruitiness. Exotic and reminiscent of tropical fruits. Finishes with a lasting richness, balanced by a delightfully vibrant acidity.
