This beautiful plot, planted in 1966 and 1996, overlooks the town of Beaune, its Hospices, its Notre Dame basilica from the hillside. The terroir, warm and very early, is located in the south of the appellation on a slightly stony limestone brown soil.

The grapes are harvested by hand, transported to our cellar, de-stemmed and put into vats. After a few days of cold maceration, alcoholic fermentation is traditionally carried out. Then comes the aging in French oak barrels, 35 percent of which are new barrels. The bottling is carried out at the property after 18 months of ageing.

Tasting Note: Beaune is the epicenter of Burgundian Pinot Noir winemaking, displaying the premier cru's signature characteristics. A garnet hue, a bouquet of dark fruits, such as blackcurrant and blackberry, as well as grilled and spicy nuances.
