100% still Chardonnay with a small amount of old barrels used to add a little texture and a touch of malolactic fermentation to soften the acidity.

Tasting Note: Pale lemon colour with soft green hue, this Chardonnay has wonderfully pronounced citrus, blossom and grapefruit aromas, with a hint of honey and pear. The palate is clean and fresh, with a mouthful of green apple flavours, and a creamy texture that is nicely balanced with its natural vibrant bright acidity. A fine and rich mouthfeel, with a long dry finish.

Hattingley Valley

From its birth as a farm diversification project back in 2008, Hattingley has grown to become one of the leading wineries in the UK, based in rural Hampshire (just down the round from Caviste!).

The Robinson family made their initial steps in 2008 by planting the first vineyard on some of the farmland, but had no idea that it would lead to where it has, today.

Now, their site has a purpose-built, eco-friendly winery, that was constructed under the guidance of their Head Winemaker and Director, Emma Rice.

They are serious - and seriously good - winemakers, but they love to have a little fun , so expect the unexpected, embrace the unconventional, throw off the shackles of tradition and try the remarkable wines of Hattingley Valley.
