The 2021 Hannibal is a bold and enigmatic red blend that unites diverse varietals into a harmonious, palate-awakening wine reflecting both heritage and innovation.

This unique blend is crafted from carefully selected grapes, including Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Nebbiolo, Mourvédre, and Barbera. Meticulous bunch thinning and controlled fermentation under cool conditions ensure balanced natural acidity. The final blend is matured for 12 months in French oak (with 20% new oak) before light filtration and bottling in July 2022.

Hannibal is a symbolic merger of Old and New World influences, drawing inspiration from the classic Italian varietals Sangiovese and Nebbiolo. Its intriguing bouquet of fresh red cherry and strawberry, interwoven with subtle hints of cedar wood, charcuterie, and tobacco, creates a wine of exceptional complexity and finesse that promises to evolve gracefully until 2035.
