2021 Christian Bergeret et Fille St Aubin 1er Cru sur Gamay
With only 10Ha under vine, Andre Moingeon et fils, is a generational domaine focussed on upholding the expression of their unique terroir. Low-yields and precise grape selection allow them to preserve this philosophy. Situated over clay-limestone soils that are sparsely populated with gravels, the unique Sur Gamay terroir provides optimum conditions for producing exquisite St. Aubin.
Tasting Note: Richness & acidity are the order of the day. The wine has enjoyed 12 months in oak to develop balance and poise. Proper Bourgogne Blanc with bright citrus, a subtle floral note, and underlying toast.
