This magnum of Barbera d’Asti Superiore hails from Mompirone, a sandy-soiled vineyard steeped in over 2,000 years of winemaking heritage. Ideal for sharing, this powerful red balances richness and precision in a showstopping expression of the Piemontese classic.

Organically grown Barbera grapes from Monte Stefano’s marine-origin sands are transformed into a deep and complex wine. The long barrel ageing in large Slavonian oak adds structure and depth, while the fruit retains its vibrant, dark character.

Winemaking: Fermented for 8–10 days at 26°C in stainless steel, followed by maturation in 25-hl Slavonian oak barrels. Organic and vegan certified.

Pairing Suggestions: Delicious with red meat, venison casseroles, Barbera-braised risotto, hearty pasta with meat ragù or roasted aubergine parmigiana.
