2021 Domaine Belleville Puligny-Montrachet 'Les Boudrières'
The moniker "Les Boudrières" traces its roots back to "Boudro," an old French word for "damp soil"; the vines from this vineyard are planted near the La Lauche riverbed.
Clay-limestone terroir with a predominance of clay in the middle of the slope. Pruning and de-budding to reduce vigour.
Tasting Note: An evocative aroma of hawthorn, hazelnuts, almond paste, and green apples. Additional notes of butter, freshly-baked croissants, flint, and honey, entice. On the palate, this finely-crafted and complex wine boasts perfect balance.
