2021 Domaine Belleville Rully 1er Cru 'La Pucelle'
The moniker for this premier cru dates back to the Middle Ages, when the Seigneur de Rully allegedly gifted his most prized land to his youngest daughter. "La Pucelle" is derived from the Latin word Pulcella, meaning "pretty", "beautiful", or "charming".
The terroir of La Pucelle boasts a 40+ year old Premier Cru in Rully, situated on an east-facing slope with stony soil. The vines are well-established, growing harmoniously without requiring any extra care.
Tasting Note: Aromatic bouquet consisting of butter and citrus, as well as white flesh fruits. Unctuous structure and harmonious in the mouth, culminating in toasty, mineral nuances on the finish, with juicy nectarine and peach.
