2021 Clos Bagatelle À L’Origine Saint-Chinian Rouge
Nestled in the rolling hills of the Caroux and Espinouse mountains, 50 kilometres north of the Mediterranean, Clos Bagatelle is a premier winemaker of stunning wines.
This particular cuvée is crafted exclusively from limestone soils.
All hand-picked, each variety is vinified separately for different amounts of time, before resting in large oak casks, prior to bottling.
Tasting Note: Aromas of fresh herbs and garrigue mingle with a full-bodied and intense set of classic flavours, enhanced by equal parts Syrah, Carignan, and Grenache, with a hint of Mouvèdre for an exquisite balance and a pleasant, embracing texture.
