2021 Cantine Povero Dianae Barbera d`Asti

Cantine Povero deals firstly with emotions, because wine transmits awareness, culture, passion to the one who savors it. Each bottle is the result of a unique and unrepeatable story, where every sensory declination is experienced like a poetic stanza.

Tasting Note: The colour is an intense garnet red with purple reflections. The nose is particularly winy and persistent. The absence of wood lets us capture the typical aromas of Barbera - cherries, prune - but also liquorice and spices. The palate is dry, warm, and full. Extremely food-friendly!

Origin: Piedmont, Italy

Cantine Povero

Cantine Povero's philosophy is to carry on the ancient wisdom handed down generation to generation, while innovating a sustainable approach to agriculture.

This is a true family operation. Every hand that touches the process - vine to glass - is deeply invested in the land and every bottle of wine that comes from their vines.

A real treat of a producer, with a wide range of styles to enjoy, from crisp, fresh whites, to age-worthy, ripe, reds. Even a lightly spritzed moscato.
