Tasting Note: Spicy notes of damsons and dark raspberries on the nose lead to a palate stuffed to the rafters with black pepper, blackberry and blueberry. Sardinian Cannonau (Grenache) has wonderful acidity, and this shines through triumphantly on the finish.

Starting in the Loire and then Burgundy, Federica embraced the art of winemaking. She honed her skills at esteemed wineries like Vincent Girardin and the legendary Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Her journey also took her to Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s Domaine Marcoux, further refining her expertise.

With a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, Federica returned to Sardinia to join forces with her brother Francesco. Together, they founded Esole Winery, aiming to craft wines that celebrate Sardinia’s unique terroir and showcase their innovative techniques and deep-rooted traditions.
