2022 CVNE Contino Rioja Blanco
Contino Blanco 2022 is an elegant and characterful white Rioja, crafted from Viura, Garnacha Blanca and Malvasía grapes sourced from mature vines aged 35–40 years. Fermented and matured in French oak, it develops a beautifully textured palate, combining flavours of ripe orchard fruit and toasted nuts with subtle oak influence. The vintage stands out for its vibrant acidity and creamy, rounded texture, with the absence of malolactic fermentation helping to retain freshness and balance. Refined and silky, it delivers an impressive lingering finish and is an excellent match for smoked dishes and a selection of aged and cured cheeses.
Tasting Note: This richness is complemented by crisp notes of pink grapefruit, white nectarine and jasmine. Like no other Rioja Blanco we have had the pleasure of tasting.
Origin: Rioja, Spain
Blend: Viura, Malvasia, Garnacha Blanca
