2022 is shaping up to be a particularly excellent vintage despite a growing season marked by extremes. The summer was marked by heat and drought. Although some vines struggled, rot and disease were mostly kept at bay. Fortunately, August brought some humidity, which helped revive some of the vines. Even so, conditions were perhaps more conducive to reds like this with its Syrah and Grenache blend.

Tasting Note: Bursting with red berry fruit, think cherry and raspberry but with darker, plummy overtones thanks to the Syrah. Fermented in concrete tanks and un-manipluted by oak there is a pretty freshness to this wine that sings and delights the palate.
