In the rugged landscape of the Bekaa Valley, Domaine des Tourelles stands as an emblem of Lebanese winemaking heritage and modern resilience. Established in 1868 by French adventurer François-Eugène Brun, the winery broke new ground as Lebanon’s first commercial cellar. The legacy of the Brun family, though ended in 2003, lives on through the visionary collaboration of the Issa and Issa el-Khoury families, who have infused the estate with fresh ideas while honouring its storied past.

Under the energetic guidance of the Issa children and Emile Issa-el Khoury, the estate marries time-honoured methods with forward-thinking sustainability. Operating over ancient, organically cultivated vineyards in the Bekaa, the winery utilises natural fermentations, minimal sulphur, and even lighter weight bottles to reduce environmental impact.
