2022 Georgiev/Milkov Mixtape
A tiny parcel of this wine is made each year from an all-Bulgarian line up of grapes grown in the ancient Thracian Valley.
A new delight from our friends esteemed Peter and Rado, this wine is described by them as a “mixtape” of the wonderful indigenous grape varieties of Bulgaria - Pamid, Rubin & Mavrud. A limited parcel of 120 bottles, the wine undergoes a spontaneous barrel fermentation before ageing gently over 8 months.
Tasting Note: Beautifully complex acidity, fresh berry fruit and ripe tannins caress the palate. A delight with charcuterie & aged cheese.
