Richard and Jill McIntyre are winemakers with a strong interest in science, existential threats such as climate change, and regenerative agriculture/viticulture. Richard started his working life as a General Surgeon who loved wine so much, he decided to plant a vineyard. A second career for Richard that continues today, Moorooduc Estate is the culmination of his dreams and passion.
Tasting Notes: Elegant and complex this beautiful single vineyard wine has aromas of cranberries and redcurrants layered with earthy hedgerow flavours such as mushroom. Gentle spice and supple tannin with just enough grip make this a wonderfully balanced wine.
